'Modesty is a part of someones faith'
From as long as I remembered I struggled with my modesty, Trying to fit in with the western society I loved but trying not to get lost with my identity as a muslim women.
I knew whenever I travelled back home to a muslim country I loved being covered and exploring all the options on the market in that country but in London I always struggled to find things that represented me well without fading into the background.
I designed abayas that I knew were so me, A little out of the ordinary. I design abayas for those who are not afraid to stand out but still are firmly holding on to their faith and modesty.
I find inspiration in all of you, all different types of muslim women. We are all unique and I think its about time modest fashion showcased the different types of muslim women in this world. Not all of us like to be ordinary in a plain black simple abaya. Not saying there's anything wrong with that because again we are all unique and all have different tastes.
I try to be as creative as I can with each abaya. The process that every abaya goes through is in itself beautiful. I draw out each design by hand and then source each fabric in London myself. I then get on with the creating process and start sewing each piece in a small flat in London. Then all your pieces are wrapped and sent off with so much love.
Just know each purchase has a real person behind the screen smiling and doing a happy dance.
Thank you for truly making this dream a reality
Lots of love
